By accessing and using this site (www.wellsandwinter.co.uk) you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of this site. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use this site.

This site is owned and operated by Nigel G K Horsey trading as Wells & Winter (referred to herein as 'Wells & Winter','our' and 'we').  All content included on our site is owned by Wells & Winter and is protected by English and International copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, download, modify or distribute any content in any manner.

The personal information that you submit to us by completing the form(s) on our website will be stored on a secure server and will only be used by Wells & Winter for administrative purposes and will not be used by any third party company or distributed in any form. We do not store credit card details or any other payment information.

Cookies are used to facilitate the processing of your order and are deleted once you leave the site. They are also used for statistical purposes. We do not use 3rd party cookies.


In accordance with the United Kingdom's distance selling regulations, should you purchase goods and then change your mind about purchasing them, you may return the goods for credit subject to the following conditions:

  • You inform us within seven working days of receipt of the goods

  • You pay the return delivery charges

  • Goods are returned in their original, re-saleable condition and in their original packaging

  • We will credit you with the original cost price you have paid us less the actual cost of the carriage charge we paid when dispatching the goods

  • Credits can only be issued to the same bank or credit card account as you originally used to pay us

  • Items damaged in transit will be exchanged free of charge and in full. You must notify us within 1 working day of receipt of any damaged goods to be eligible for a full refund or exchange. You must keep all packaging and artwork as found. Alternatively, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately.

Sales Tax

We are not registered for VAT (Value Added Tax) as our sales are below the threshold for registration.


Orders should be submitted on-line via our website. Exceptionally we will accept and process orders made via the telephone.


Unless otherwise agreed by us in writing your order will not be dispatched until we have received payment in full.

Wells & Winter uses Paypal and FDMS to process your credit or debit or charge card payments for orders you make on our website. During our checkout process you will directed to their payment pages as appropriate from which point we cannot be held responsible for the security of any information you provide them. We cannot access this payment information ourselves.

The total cost of your order is the price of products ordered plus postage and packaging costs, as detailed on the website.

You may also pay by Bank Transfer or by Telephone.

Colour reproduction of labels

In so far as is reasonably possible we have tried to accurately represent the colours of our labels in both photographs and drop-down menus on this site. This accuracy can be affected by the photographic process, the manufacturing process of the labels and the equipment you use to display the colours. To confirm any colour meets your requirements before placing an order you must send for a sample. We reserve the right to charge for any sample but where possible and reasonable we will send them free of charge.


Free samples of our other products apart from labels are rarely available and if so only at our discretion. The accuracy of reproduction of the colours of these other products can also be affected by the photographic process, the manufacturing process of the products and the equipment you use to display the colours. If you are not satisfied with any colour then you should return the product in accordance with our Returns policy as set out above.

Opening Hours

We do not have a conventional shop as we only sell on the internet or at intermittent events such as flower shows. If you give us notice you can visit us at our trading address where we can show or demonstrate any products.

Delivery/postage & packing/shipping

We aim to dispatch within two working days of receipt of your order or payment whichever is the later. We will notify you by email if we believe dispatch will be delayed by more than 5 working days. We normally send small parcels under 2kg with Royal Mail and larger parcels with a carrier but retain the right to use whatever method we think will reach you most expeditiously. However, please note that once the goods have passed to our courier we cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur in transit.

Orders for delivery within the UK attract our standard delivery charges as follows:
